Academics

Charlotte Secondary’s goal is to challenge our students academically while addressing the needs of our diverse student body. We value smaller class sizes, individualized learning and a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. We aim to help those students who have struggled in larger learning environments to thrive and meet their full potential.

Our students in grades 6-8 have the following core classes all year long:

• Social Studies

• Math

• English Language Arts

• Science

The scheduling and course offerings for our high school students varies as we address the diverse needs of students to meet graduation standards. Encore classes are dependent upon student grade level and interest. They may include: Spanish, Psychology, Health/PE, Visual Arts, and Chorus.
